Managing Director & Chelmsford Office Manager

Michael was born in Great Baddow, Chelmsford and has a love for golf, football (Spurs), property and of course his wife & son Henry! His enthusiasm for property started with his 1st rental experience in 1991 and 1st purchase in 1993. In October 2003 cmRENT was created and has developed the business to reflect Michael's experiences as a landlord & tenant in Burnham-on-Crouch, Chelmsford, Colchester & Braintree. Michael runs the business with his wife Susannah and is focused on all his staff giving a professional Lettings service to Landlords & Tenants alike.

Susannah Saville (MARLA) & Licenced ARLA Agent

Director

Susannah runs the business with Michael and was born in Braintree and loves to keep fit, shop & cook! Susannah experienced life as a landlord of her 1st property in Braintree in 2001. She spent her early years learning from her dad's carpentry & general building skills and ran the cmRENT Property Management department until taking maternity leave in June 2009. Michael & Susannah married in June 2008 and have a son called Henry.

Paul has worked in the Property Management industry since 2000 and runs our Braintree Head Office. His professional, positive attitude and experience will ensure that all our Landlords are provided with the best service possible from move-in day to move-out day. Paul has a son with the Buck good looks (!) and enjoys running & mountain biking in his spare time.

Adrian has many years experience in Accounts and has worked in Accounts for another local Letting Agent previously. Adrian's attention to detail is paramount in this vital role within the business and his professionalism & communication to clients is exemplary.

Nicola Miller

Lettings & Accounts Administrator - Braintree Office

Nicola joins us with much experience as a Sales & Lettings Negotiator, Letting Accounts & Land Leasing since 2006. She is looking to expand her knowledge of residential property letting & management with cmRENT and qualify for the ARLA Technical Award. Nicola has previously rented and now owns her own property.

Rea French

Senior Lettings Negotiator - Chelmsford, Great Leighs, Danbury, Maldon

Rea began her Lettings career in 2008 and joined cmRENT in 2009 prior to the launch of the Chelmsford Office. She brings a great customer service ethic, ambition and enthusiasm for finding the right Rental Property for the right Tenants. Rea is now Senior Lettings Negotiator and is studying to obtain her ARLA qualification.

Chanel Benford

Chanel joined us in July 2011 coming from a background of retail & banking where she consistently out-performed her targets set. Chanel's drive and enthusiasm for maintaining client relationships continues cmRENT's commitment to providing an excellent customer service to both Landlords & Tenants. During her spare time Chanel enjoys shopping, socialising and attending the gym.

Helen Gowers

Senior Lettings Administrator - Chelmsford Office

Helen has worked in Lettings locally since 2004 and has attended ARLA Lettings courses over the recent years. Helen joined us in 2009 looking for a new challenge & progression with a forward thinking company and has added valuable experience & ambition to our Lettings Team at an important time of growth. Helen became a homeowner in 2009 adding that stressful buying experience to her knowledge of the property sector! Helen is currently studying for her ARLA qualification, having just passed unit 1.

Karen lives in Chelmsford, attended Moulsham High School and has worked in Witham so knows the local area very well. She has excellent people skills, having worked in Banking Customer Services and Staff Recruitment. Having also worked for Mercedes Benz, Karen joined the Mercedes Benz of Chelmsford Letting Agents in 2010!

Emma is an ARLA Licenced Agent and started her Lettings career in 2003. Her experience has always been in the Braintree, Witham, Halstead & Dunmow areas. Emma runs our Braintree Office Lettings team, ensuring that we find the best tenants, quickly for our Landlords' properties at the best rent price and that the administration process is smooth from start to finish.

Ruby Bronze

Lettings Negotiator - Braintree, Dunmow, Witham, Halstead, Colchester

Ruby recently achieved 3 'A' levels at Felsted School. Ruby's family have undertaken various property projects in buying, renovating, building, letting & selling, so she is putting some of this family knowledge to good use since joining cmRENT in 2010. Ruby has proven to be an excellent Neogtiator and has bags of enthusiasm for Lettings! Unfortunately Ruby will be leaving us to join her Family's business at the end of Feb 2012 :(

Clair Dunphy

Lettings Administrator - Braintree Office

Clair has worked for a national agent in London since 2004 specialising in Lettings Administration. She joins us to expand our Property Management & Lettings admin team. Clair passed her ARLA exam in 2006, her driving test in Oct. 2011 (well done!) and is undergoing further training in order to pass the ARLA Technical Award in 2012.

Graham Terry (MAPIP)

Inventory Clerk

Graham has over 20 years experience in the property industry. From leaving school in 1985 he studied as an Architectural Technician and has run his own business designing and managing building works in the residential & retail sectors. Graham will be an important part of the Property management team, carrying out quarterly inspections on our growing portfolio of managed properties and co-ordinating any works between move-out & move-in of new tenants.

Simone Boniface

Senior Lettings Administrator - Braintree Office

Simone has lived in Braintree since 1990 and enjoys running and walking her dog "Smudge". Simone bought her own home at the age of just 21 and her family are property Landlords giving her valuable knowledge in this area. Simone has excellent knowledge of Lettings from a combination of her on-the-job training and attendance of ARLA courses in Legal & Practical matters, since joining cmRENT in 2008. Simone is currently studying for her ARLA qualification, having just passed unit 1.

Cheryl has worked in Lettings & Property Management since 2009 and is looking forward to progressing her knowledge & experience further with cmRENT as we are an ARLA licenced Lettings specialist. Cheryl has 2 children and enjoys floristry in her spare time.

Jessica Daniels-Dey

Having previously worked for a Patent company, Jess became the youngest person in the country to pass her Legal exams in Patent Law. Since joining cmRENT in February 2011 she is fast learning the legal side of Lettings and her positive personality is an asset in customer service within our Property management team. In her spare time Jess likes shopping and socialising with friends.

Jane is Michael's mother-in-law and must be obeyed at all times! Jane has lived in Braintree most of her life and has worked in local banks and shops giving excellent customer service to all she encounters. Jane loves her fine wines, Bingo, Roulette wheel and always wins at Cards... Not quite an addict, but she's working on it!!

Brian Raven

Maintenance Man

Brian attends to most of the general maintenance jobs which may occur in cmRENT's properties under their Management Service. Brian has been a Carpenter & General Builder working in the Property Industry since he was in shorts (!) and the quality of his work and attention to detail is exemplary. You will often see Brian going about his business in the cmRENT Maintenance Van, so give him a wave!
