Hello Michael, I am about to say farewell to a cmRENT tenant who has been in my property for five years. He is about to upgrade (from my flat) to a house through another agent, AGENT X
AGENT X asked me to provide a reference for him which I was more than happy to do, but when their form arrived, I was alarmed to see that it was a form that my current tenant had submitted to them, showing the potential new address, his work details and his salary. I am quite sure that the words 'data' 'protection' and 'breach' are quite relevant to this situation; when I called them to question why they'd sent it over to me, they said it was because his signature was on that piece of paper and they didn't think it was a problem that I could see all the other stuff... lucky for them there wasn't a landlord/tenant dispute!
I thought you might appreciate some feedback on another letting agency, just to remind you of how much you are doing right.
Please pass on my thanks to your team for their patience with my paperwork in recent weeks, and to confirm that I received my EPC this morning. I'm also proud to see cmRENT regularly popping up on Rightmove (with new properties).
